Kumaran Inthusegaram

Engineering Consultant

Kumaran has 20 years’ experience working as an Engineer and Program/Project Manager. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Information System) from University of Sydney and a Diploma of Project Management. He has extensive delivery rollout experience in Defence, Broadcast, and Telecommunications Infrastructure Projects. He has worked for leading System Integration companies: Visionstream, John Holland, Transfield Telecommunication, Broadcast Australia, The Bridge Networks and BSA.

His achievements are impressive with a track record of on schedule and within budget project delivery. He managed the delivery of 520 Fixed Wireless sites in regional NSW and QLD for Ericsson/NBN valued at $148m, and the delivery 352 ABC/SBS Digital TV and ABC News Radio services at sites across Australia, valued at $130m.

Kumaran worked for The Bridge Networks on the JP2008 Phase 4 program. He had engineering responsibility for the Mission System Acquisition and Phase-In activities. His major achievement was securing WGS type certification of the terminals – an Australian first. Kumaran was also responsible for Design Authority (TRAMM-L), safety engineering, and terminal build and site installation to stringent WGS standards.
